WINTER WARMERS
WINTER WARMERS
The Winter Warmers project gives out scarves, gloves, hats, hot water bottles and heat packs, blankets, slippers and dressing gowns for adults.
The cost of living has pushed heating bills up and more people need help through hardship as it becomes more difficult to keep themselves and their families warm.
When: The Winter Warmers cupboard is open between October - March each year, every Monday and Thursday during term time, 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Where: The Lighthouse, 8-10 High Street, Woking, GU21 6BG. Just drop into The Lighthouse Woking, where you will be welcomed by our team of staff and volunteers. You’ll be shown the Winter Warmers cupboard and can take three items away for you or your family, free-of-charge.
You don’t need a referral to use the Winter Warmer project. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
Can you offer people extra help with the cost of living? If you can donate any new items, please bring them to The Lighthouse Woking on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10.30am - 12.30pm during autumn and winter (September - March). For our current wishlist, click on the button below.
