Thank you for choosing to raise money or donate items and resources to The Lighthouse. It’s our privilege at The Lighthouse to work with so many great businesses who want to make a difference in their local community.
By partnering with The Lighthouse you are sending a clear message to your staff, customers and clients that you care about your local community. It is a great way to engage with others, encourage teamwork, to raise morale and your profile.
There are so many ways to raise money as a work team or business. This list gives a few ideas, but let your creativity go wild as you think about ways to raise money for The Lighthouse projects.
Payroll Giving - set up payroll giving to give your employees an option to donate part of their wages to The Lighthouse.
Charity of the year - choose The Lighthouse as your charity of the year and dedicate time and effort throughout the year at key times to raising money for our projects.
Sponsored team events - could your marketing department take on your finance team in a sponsored bike race?
Quiz night - host a fun social event that raises money at the same time
Cake sale - every office or workplace appreciates baked goods
Christmas gifts - give people the option to donate to The Lighthouse at Christmas.

The easiest way to collect donations and sponsorship for your fundraising event is to set up a JustGiving page online.
JustGiving makes it really easy to promote your event and to share with your family and friends why you are fundraising for The Lighthouse. Donations made through JustGiving come straight to us and you don’t have to worry about paying in any physical money.

DONATING PHYSICAL ITEMS
Fundraising and donating money isn’t the only way your organisation can help The Lighthouse.
Some of our projects have wish lists of physical items they need to support people in your local communities. Such as toiletries for the hygiene bank, prom dresses for Style Studio's prom project, food for the Woking Foodbank, baby clothes and equipment and great quality adult second-hand clothes.

Donate ItemsIf you become a corporate partner, we often welcome volunteer groups to help clean our venues or carry out DIY projects.
Do you have skills and hours you could donate to help us? Perhaps you’ve got I.T, translation or cooking skills you could share?
