NURTURE
NURTURE
Free weekly workshops with health and wellbeing activities for women.
We promote self-esteem and resilience as we learn about the importance of self care. Nurture builds friendships that improve wellbeing as we learn from one another and grow together.
We are now running two different Nurture groups, at both Woking and Barnsbury, which are slightly different in content.
WOKING
Our group at Woking sees women getting to know each other over coffee, before taking part in a relaxed workshop focusing on topics designed to help us flourish, such as: confidence and self-worth, positivity and gratitude, nutrition, sleep and healthy habits, or relaxation techniques.
When: Our Woking Nurture group meets on a Thursday during school term time 10.30am - 12pm for a wellbeing workshop, coffee and chat.
Where: You’ll find us in the Nurture Lounge, on Floor 1 of The Lighthouse Woking, 8-10 High St, Woking, GU21 6BG.
BARNSBURY
Our group at Barnsbury is a small, women-only group dedicated to nurturing your body, mind, and soul. Whether it's guided relaxation and self care, exploring faith and beliefs, or creative activities, you can engage at your own pace, participating as much or as little as feels right for you.
When: Our Barnsbury Nurture group meets for THREE Thursdays a month (the first Thursday is The Well) during school term time, 10.30am - 12pm.
Where: You’ll find us in the The Lighthouse Barnsbury, 30 Ash Road, Woking, GU22 OBH. Free Parking, no 81 Bus stops just outside.
Nurture is a warm and friendly group, and a safe space for women to learn together and make new friendships. We’d love you to join us. Email Dawn to find out more.
“A regular participant told us recently that as soon as she enters the room it feels like arms of love go around her and she feels safe. She said she has never felt loved like that in her life before.”
Do you have skills to share in mental health and self care? Perhaps you want to help run self care activities?
We’d love to hear from you.
