Supporting families when they need it the most
Welcome to Jigsaw, a project which supports families with children under 11.
Jigsaw Storehouse provides toys, equipment and clothing for families in financial need. Jigsaw Hub hosts parenting courses, play sessions and baby groups for children under five.
Please take a look below for more information on both projects.
The Jigsaw Storehouse is a 'baby-bank' providing clothing, toys, and equipment for families with children under 11 across Surrey and Hampshire.
We operate through the generous donations of nearly new, great quality items from our local community and the many dedicated hours of our volunteer teams.
Families in financial need can be referred by a registered local service provider once a month (a professional, such as a midwife, health visitor, support or social worker). Our team then gather together the requested items ready for collection.
A safe, warm, fun and welcoming family centre for families with children under five. We run play sessions, parenting courses, and a baby group.
With no referral needed, the Jigsaw Hub is a place for children to play, and for parents and carers to enjoy a free cup of tea and connect with our team.
“I have a daughter going into year 1 and my youngest starting school in September and I was so worried about how I was going to provide school uniform and shoes for them as we struggle just to keep up with the weekly essentials. This gift was literally like an answer to prayer and I feel like a guardian angel has been watching over me.”
Would you like to join our fantastic team of volunteers? Make baby essential packs, help with deliveries, admin or play sessions… we would love to hear from you!
The Lighthouse only exists because of the generosity of our local community. If you would like to donate items to Jigsaw, please click the button below.
