CHRISTMAS KINDNESS WOKING
CHRISTMAS KINDNESS WOKING
Christmas Kindness is an opportunity to bring kindness, hope and joy to families who are finding life a real struggle at the moment with the cost of living crisis and fuel bills soaring.
This December in Woking we'll be running different events, including Christmas Kindness for families through Jigsaw, Ukrainian Christmas, a Partywear or PJs project with Style Studio, Christmas Carols, a Christmas Bake Off, parties for Young Carers and Senior Citizens, and a Christmas Day celebration.
We'll also be giving out Christmas treats through Woking Foodbank, Winter Warmers items, and toiletries through the Hygiene Bank.
Countdown to Christmas Events WokingThank you so much for all your donations - so many things for projects like Style Studio and Jigsaw we've now erased from the list below thanks to the generosity of this community.
If you would kindly like to donate items to The Lighthouse Christmas projects in Woking this year, please see the following list:
Christmas Day gifts
Unwrapped gifts for adult men.
Items for Hygiene Bank and Winter Warmers (ongoing)
Particularly toiletries for men, and socks / gloves for men, as well as all the usual items like slippers, cosy socks, hot water bottles etc.
Please drop off items at The Lighthouse Woking, 8-10 High Street, Woking, GU21 6BG, on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10.30am - 12.30pm.
If driving, please pull into the layby outside The Lighthouse and register your car with our Welcome Team to authorise access. And do get in touch if you are a group who would like to donate a large number of items, so we can help you unload. Thank you!
The only reason that The Lighthouse can run Christmas Kindness is because of our generous community of donors, fundraisers and volunteers.

“Thank you so much to those who worked so hard to make the Christmas brunch so enjoyable. I had a great time on Christmas Day and appreciated the warmth, food, organisation and lift back!”
