Help us to spread a little peace and joy in Woking this Christmas.
For many, Christmas is a time of warmth, joy, and happy memories, but for others in our community, this season can be a difficult reminder of hardship, loneliness, or uncertainty. At The Lighthouse, our mission is to bring light into the lives of those who are struggling, as we look to make a significant difference to many individuals during this special time of year.
Last year, we saw the community respond to our Christmas Kindness appeal, raising almost £68,000, enabling The Lighthouse to help over 2,700 local people. We provided food hampers, toys, gifts, warm clothing, parties, and Christmas lunch to celebrate together.
This year, the need is even greater. Many in our community continue to feel the effects of rising living costs, unemployment, isolation, and uncertainty. With your help, we can provide hope and practical support to ensure that everyone we serve experiences the joy of Christmas.
A gift of £25 could help give Christmas essentials including food, toiletries, clothing, and winter warming items like hot water bottles and cosy blankets.
A gift of £50 could help give Christmas treats, like brand new toys for children, party clothes, and wrapped gift sets.
A gift of £100 could help give Christmas cheer, through essential clothing, shelter and companionship, a delicious hot Christmas Day meal, and much more.
