Foodbank Project Manager
Alison began working at The Lighthouse in January 2014. She oversees the running of the Woking Foodbank and spreads her time running (not literally) between our four distribution centres located in and around Woking.
Her working life began in a very different role as a civil servant for the department of Employment, now known as the Department for Work and Pensions.
"I love the fact that The Lighthouse provides the opportunity for us and our volunteers to serve our guests and each other. We act as neighbours and step in to help and support one another during the good and the harder times."
