Love Your Neighbour is a fund that was set up at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the generosity of Emmaus Rd Church. Local agencies and schools in Woking, Guildford and Aldershot areas refer people to LYN when they have a crisis need which they are unable to fund themselves, or source alternative funding for.

*David was homeless and finally moved into supported housing. However it was some way out of town and he wasn’t able to get into Guildford to receive essential services. LYN was able to fund David a bike, helmet and lock to allow him to travel to and from town.

*Debbie is a single mum with three children with additional needs. LYN was able to purchase bunk beds for two of the children sharing a room, as they were sleeping on old mattresses on the floor.

*Carl and his partner had many medical issues and were unable to work. They were surviving on food bank donations but their oven was broken. LYN was able to provide them with a new table top oven. The clients were overwhelmed and said it would make such a difference to their lives.
